Armed Forces Insurance Donates Over $1500 To Military Charities
Donations Reinforce AFI's Belief in Giving Back to Those Who Serve
LEAVENWORTH, Kan. (February 13, 2013) - Armed Forces Insurance (www.AFI.org) announced today that it made donations totaling $1,540 to various military charities. The charities receiving the donations include Disabled American Veterans, Hire Heroes USA and the Military Child Education Coalition.
During a recent marketing campaign, Armed Forces Insurance stated that the company would donate $10 to one of three charities of choice for completing an insurance quote. Only companies who share Armed Forces Insurance's mission were considered for the campaign.
"Giving back to those who serve is our mission and the cornerstone of all we do and we are always looking for ways to expand outside of our current methods," said Kurt Seelbach, President and CEO of Armed Forces Insurance. "Recently we had the opportunity to support our veterans financially by making charitable donations to three incredible organizations that are serving veterans exceptionally well. We feel honored to stand alongside them in our mission."
"Armed Forces Insurance is committed to protecting those who protect our nation, and we will put their generous donation to use fulfilling our promises to the men and women who served," said Marc Burgess, Executive Director for DAV's National Headquarters. "These funds will help us provide free services to ensure veterans are receiving the benefits they've earned."
Seelbach added, "Armed Forces Insurance takes pride in proving personal service and competitive rates to those who serve and their families seriously. We feel we have an additional obligation: giving back to the community that supports those beliefs, both military and local. To us, it just makes sense."
