Protecting Your Privacy - ChoicePoint

Armed Forces Insurance Exchange (AFI) is concerned about protecting your privacy. We share information about you only when required by law or in accordance with generally accepted business practices within the insurance industry.

Recently, a situation occurred at ChoicePoint, where personal information was fraudulently and wrongfully obtained from their database. AFI is a customer of ChoicePoint and we subscribe to their services to obtain consumer reports used in underwriting. Most insurers, including AFI, also report loss information to the Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Exchange (CLUE), a division of ChoicePoint. However, we do not include social security numbers or birth dates in our loss data submissions.
