Armed Forces Insurance Agency (AFIA), owned by Armed Forces Insurance Corporation was established to offer insurance coverage for a wide variety of products not available through Armed Forces Insurance Exchange.

The AFIA is currently offering policies in the following 36 states with additional states being added:
Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Kansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Mexico, New York, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Wisconsin and Washington.
The Agency does business in California and New York by the name of AFI Insurance Agency.  AFIA is a wholly owned subsidiary of Armed Forces Insurance Corporation. It was established to offer insurance coverage for a variety of risk where coverage is not available through AFIE.
